Since our inception, we have
grown to a very diversified membership of 135 Republican volunteers.

Many of our members are current
or recently retired elected public officials in the following offices:

ABC School Board - six have served to date

Current elected Director of Central Basin Water
District

Many of our members have been appointed to committees
or commissions of either the ABC School District, the Cerritos City Council
or the L.A. County Supervisors.

Our membership is comprised of volunteers who
reside not only in Cerritos, but Artesia, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, Norwalk
and Whittier.

District and Darryl Miller, CEO of this district--both discuss the history
of and political dynamics of water supply in this basin and in California.

Richard Hollingsworth CEO, Gateway Cities (includes
27 cities) discussed how Cerritos is impacted by our neighboring cities.
This is a regional council of governments created in 1996.

Judge Roy Paul of the Los Angeles Superior Court
discussed the reorganization of the court system in California and how
the new jury duty system affects each of us in doing our duty as
a juror.

Hu, candidate for State Assembly and Marilyn Lyon, candidate for State
Senate.

Supported and volunteered for club members seeking City
Council and ABC School Board positions during local elections.

Hosted an Oratorical Presentation of Student Essays
from our local high school civics classes - presented awards for meritorious
entries.

Club Members decorate and volunteer in a food
booth at the annual Cerritos Let Freedom Ring event on July 4th.

Supported and attended local Community Prayer Breakfast
in Cerritos.

Provide Club members with our free monthly community
newsletter featuring articles prepared by our local, county, state, and
congressional elected officials.

Major sponsor of 2 tables with CRC members in the
Boy Scouts of America Annual "Good Scout Award Dinner honoring Hon. Ed
Royce."

Kick-off of Campaign to elect Tim Escobar to the
new 39th Congressional District. Presented by CRC and Hon. Ed Royce
and Supervisor Don Knabe.

Club members volunteered in decorating the City
of Cerritos float in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses New Year's parade.
